As Brian Collins once said, “Design lets you rehearse the future.”
Nemesis coffee reached out to us during the depths of COVID work-from-home to design their latest location in Bjarke Ingel’s Vancouver House. An amazing space and – as it turns out – an amazing client. Coffee has never been the end for Nemesis, but rather a means to catalyzing culture. Our project with them will be part coffee shop, part music lab, part cocktail bar, and part DJ hub. Stuck at home and riffing off this heady mix, combined with BIG’s fascinating spaces, we set to work. Here’s a little snapshot of us rehearsing for Nemesis’ future:
